The kitchen-area has a gas two ring hob, a sink fashioned and upcycled from an old tin bucket and free flowing cold water, there is an element of fun in this lovely cabin. If the weather keeps you inside, stoke up the wood-burner, open a book and chill. The double bed is raised up to take advantage of the views, lie in bed, turn off the lights and marvel at the dark sky through the stargazing ceiling. Freshen up in the shower-room with its eco composting toilet, bespoke zinc wash-basin and copper pipes fashioned into a shower with hot and cold water and a cedar shingle wall. The cabin has a charming outdoor space with a wood-fired bathtub for relaxing soaks, and decking which is private and beckons you to rest a while. Cook alfresco over the fire pit or sip a glass of wine and cuddle up under a cosy blanket and watch the sun go down.
The cabin has been carefully thought out by the owner using many upcycled materials including reclaimed wood and metal. The electricity is from the solar panels which cover the lighting and the phone chargers. There is no TV, WiFi or plug sockets - USB ports are available for charging devices. Being so aware of the carbon footprint of the cabin the owner has provided a cool box for your use, with ice packs to use from the communal freezer in the open barn.
