Make your way to the idyllic village of Stithians, where you will find Gribbas Cottage - a delightful, dog-friendly escape for two. This very sweet Cornish cottage is full of charm, and a wonderful base for those looking to explore Cornwall, or simply to switch off and unwind for a little while.

Inside your cosy hideaway you'll find the beautiful sitting-room, with its traditional charm and homely touches. The mustard yellow sofa and armchair are perched around the wood-burner and coffee-table, just inviting you to sit back, pick up a book, and relax by the fire. Bliss! Next door, the lovely and light kitchen has all you'll need for rustling up breakfasts and suppers, and a dining-table and chairs.

Head upstairs to find the pretty and spacious double bedroom, styled in calming blue tones, with a dressing-table and wardrobe and a comfortable armchair. You'll also find the bathroom on this floor - with a bathtub for long, leisurely soaks at the end of the day. Outside, at the front of the cottage, there is a lovely little spot to sit with your morning coffee or evening drinks.

There are a number of wonderful adventures within easy reach. Stithians Lake is right on your doorstep and makes for a fantastic spot for picnics, leisurely walks, and water sports, including kayaking and paddleboarding. Wild Vibes cafe is located here and is perfect for coffee and cake or a delicious breakfast.

The vibrant town of Falmouth is a short drive away, ideal for beach days, sea swimming and afternoons spent exploring independent coffee shops, boutiques and restaurants in the town. A little further afield, you'll find the Helford River and its unforgettable landscapes - making for a wonderful day out discovering the creeks and coves on foot, boat or kayak!

If you'd like to explore Cornwall's breath-taking north coast, the glorious beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy are nearby. Enjoy a surfing class with one of the local surf schools, and stop for coffee at one of the beach cafes. St Agnes is also nearby, with a number of fabulous places to eat and delightful independent shops. If you're looking for dog-friendly things to do, you won't be short of them here; there are plenty of fantastic dog-friendly eateries, and the coast path is brilliant for dog-friendly adventures (don't forget to keep them on lead near the clifftops).
