Nestled in tranquil gardens with fabulous views towards Dartmoor, this traditional detached barn conversion is located on the Devon and Cornwall border, ideally placed for exploring both the moorlands and coast with the perfect beach at Widemouth Bay being 30 minutes away! Meadow View Barn is perfect for either a family holiday or a getaway with friends, where even your four-legged friends are welcome.

From the moment you arrive at Meadow View Barn, you will feel yourself relax and unwind in your tranquil surroundings. Situated on a quiet country no-through lane, and with gorgeous countryside walks from the door, this is the perfect location for nature lovers and adventurers.

The barn has been sympathetically restored with traditional vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and reclaimed floors which marry seamlessly with pieces of timeless classic furniture and stylish features. The cosy sitting-room has comfy sofas, a Smart TV and a warming wood-burner making this the ideal year-round destination. The kitchen/diner has a lovely dining-table where you can gather and chat about the adventures of the day, and a well-equipped kitchen with a fabulous Rayburn and of course, the all-important dishwasher.

Climb the stairs to the first floor and you will find three charming bedrooms and the family bathroom. Bedroom one has access to a delightful, secluded patio (the barn is built into the side of the hill, so outside areas are on different levels), and has a gorgeous feature king-size bed and en suite shower-room. Bedroom two is a delightful twin-bedded room, ideal for either children or adults and bedroom three is a blissful double room with a comfy king-size double bed and access to a patio. The stylish family bathroom on this floor has a blissful freestanding roll-top bath and separate shower so you can choose either a long soak or a refreshing shower - this room is also accessed directly from bedroom three.

Step outside and you will be surrounded by just under half an acre of tranquil gardens, a secluded patio-area, perfect for al fresco dining and a second separate garden with pretty wildlife pond (please take care with children). These fabulous gardens are both enclosed and gated so the family dogs and children can run free and let off steam whilst the grown ups enjoy the scenery. Please note, the gardens are on different levels and there are ten steps.

With far-reaching views towards magnificent Dartmoor and the coast just a thirty-minute car ride away, you will make lasting memories at Meadow View Barn.

You may decide to spend your days enjoying your peaceful surroundings and the many countryside walks from the doorstep. Take the bridle path at the bottom of the lane to the local village of Boyton and there are also woodlands and a stream to discover. If you do choose to explore further afield, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to days out.

Stunning Dartmoor, a walker and cyclist's paradise which you can see in the distance, is just 40 minutes' drive away or perhaps you'd prefer to see the sea. Families should head for the golden sands of Bude in Cornwall with a gorgeous beach, sea pool and vibrant town to explore, or perhaps Widemouth Bay where the Atlantic rollers offer some splendid surfing when conditions allow.

The traditional market towns of Holsworthy, Launceston and Tavistock are a short drive away, ideal for stocking up on holiday goodies and perhaps the odd gift to take home. However you plan to spend your days, Meadow View Barn is perfect for all your holiday adventures.
