Situated on a street in the centre of the village, from the moment you arrive you will relax into your getaway at this charming cottage. The ground floor living space is open plan with oodles of character such as exposed beams and re-claimed wooden floors. The sitting area has comfy sofas and a wood-burner effect electric stove to keep you warm whatever the weather. A kitchen at the rear has all the equipment you will need to cook a holiday meal and the farmhouse table is the perfect place to gather everyone together to chat about the days adventures.
The stairs are steep and turning, as is traditional in Cornish cottages, and these take you to the first floor with two pretty bedrooms and the family shower-room. Bedroom one is a double bedded room whilst bedroom two has built-in bunk-beds which the children in the party will love. Please note the bunk-beds are not suitable for adults. The stylish family shower-room on this floor is ideal for rinsing salty toes after a busy beach day. A further steep staircase leads to bedroom three on the second floor. This delightful room has a double bed and fabulous Velux window giving a view over the rooftops towards the surrounding countryside. You can escape to this room for a quiet read on the day bed - perfect! Please note, Dove Cottage has three bedrooms for flexibility but is only suitable for four guests.
Outside, the harbourside is just a stroll away so you can take your morning coffee, evening aperitif and everything in between down to the water's edge to watch the tide ebb and flow throughout the day, the ultimate holiday pastime.
