Number 5 is a delightful, newly renovated property on the quiet edge of the pretty market town of Ambleside. With four bedrooms sleeping up to six adults and four children and open plan living it is a fantastic social space for family and friends to gather and experience the magic of the Lake District.
This attractive holiday home offers spacious accommodation on one level. Step into the entrance where there is space a plenty for storing coats and shoes before heading into the lovely light and airy living area. Complete with a warming wood-burning stove and large squashy sofas you will feel instantly welcomed and at home. Put your feet up, grab a book or enjoy a board game with the family. For entertainment there's a large Smart TV with Netflix, a Blu-ray DVD player and WiFi. After a day spent exploring nearby Lake Windemere this is just the place to relax. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare a feast for your nearest and dearest and the large dining-table seating ten will encourage everyone to recount tales of the day's adventures whilst sharing ideas for the next day's activities.
After dinner wander outside through the glass doors to the secluded private courtyard and patio, take a seat at the garden table and chairs, pop a cork and while away an hour or two planning tomorrow's adventures. Morning coffee is just as enjoyable; get up early, grab a cup and sit and relax before the bustle of the day begins.
Wander down the hallway to the bedrooms, where you will find a cosy double bedroom with en suite shower-room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. At the end of the corridor families will be delighted by the super bunkroom which has two sets of bunk-beds, perfect for the children to have fun and frolics (the bunk-beds are for children only). A family bathroom houses a bath with overhead shower, ideal for re-energising tired legs after a day walking up the fells.
There is a useful utility-room with a washing machine and tumble-drier and separate WC and wash-basin. Another useful addition is the private parking for two cars. Park up and spend the remainder of your holiday on foot, there is so much to do close by you will be spoilt for choice. A stay at Number 5 really is somewhere to enjoy a memorable family holiday.
