Make your way to the glorious Devonshire countryside where you will find Rull Granary, a rather fabulous rural retreat. With magical countryside views and the most divine unique interiors, this idyllic getaway is one of Devon's best-kept secrets.

Sleeping ten and dog-friendly, the whole family can join you for a special celebration, or simply an unforgettable getaway. As you arrive through the grand entrance, you're sure to be captivated by the gorgeous exteriors! But first, step inside to discover the oh so beautiful country kitchen, with exposed beams and brick, and a gorgeous Aga. This is a fabulous spot for rustling up a feast, perching at the kitchen island with your morning coffee, or planning your holiday adventures around the farmhouse table.

From there, step up (via two steps) into the living space, which is rather cosy. Light the wood-burner, sink into the sumptuous sofas, and get lost in a fascinating book or a fun board game. You'll also find a spacious dining-table where you can enjoy meals or evening drinks, with double doors leading out to the patio and garden. Oh, and we should also mention the fabulous grand piano - quite the instrument to play a little tune!

You'll find bedroom one and two on the ground floor. Bedroom one is a cheerful king room, decorated in gorgeous shades of yellow with a copper bed frame. Bedroom two is a pretty double room decorated in fresh spring colours, also with a copper bed frame. Head up the fabulous staircase (admiring the stunning stained-glass feature on the way!), where you will find bedrooms three and four. Bedroom three is a wonderful double room, with a gorgeous wooden bed frame, and a heavenly en suite bathroom, decorated in pastel pink tones. The roll-top bath is simply divine, and you're sure to spend a leisurely evening enjoying a luxurious soak. And we must mention the eye-catching rose quartz sink! Not forgetting that this fabulous bedroom shares access to the balcony terrace, the perfect spot for enjoying the morning newspaper and a fresh pot of coffee. Wander across the landing to find bedroom four, a stylish spacious room with a sumptuous king-size bed and a unique en suite.

Last but certainly not least, bedroom five is really quite special. With a hand-crafted Caesar bed, you're sure to enjoy long leisurely lie-ins - in fact, you might want to stay there all day! Otherwise, throw open the double doors and step up out onto the terrace, a dreamy spot to enjoy your morning coffee as you gaze out at the rural views. The impressive en suite bath and shower room is a Mediterranean-style haven, with lots of wonderful touches throughout.

The secluded, peaceful outside space is a great spot to spend sunny afternoons and blissful evenings. There's plenty of space for everyone to find their own spot to relax and unwind, with picnic tables, a seating area and a fantastic lawned area. Here you can play fun family games, enjoy afternoon picnics or simply soak up the wonderful countryside views.

Sharing this glorious spot are your neighbours who reside within the larger grounds, located at the entrance of the courtyard, just through the green access gate. In respect for your neighbours and with safety in mind (with the river nearby and accessible from the car parking area), please keep dogs on leads until you are within the gated grounds of Rull Granary.

If you can bear to leave your beautiful hideaway, there's lots to see and do in this special part of Devon. The glorious Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is within easy reach, and makes for a great place to enjoy walking, hiking, cycling and enjoying the magic of the great outdoors. If you fancy delving into city life, vibrant Exeter is nearby and has a great choice of eateries and shops for an indulgent day out.

And of course, if you're craving the sea, the tranquil east Devon coastline is within easy reach. Discover the beautiful village of Branscombe, with two welcoming pubs, a seafood cafe and a shingle beach, and the pretty village of Beer is also well worth a visit - head to the beach for a boat trip or to try out a water sport during the summer months. And you could always hop over the border to bustling Lyme Regis and the idyllic Jurassic Coast for a special day out.

Take care there are some sloping ceilings. Please ensure small children are supervised when on the balcony leading from bedrooms three and five, and in any external areas outside of your gated courtyard, as access to the river can be found for that intrepid explorer. Also, in respect for your neighbours and with safety in mind (with the river nearby and accessible from the car parking area), please keep dogs on leads until you are within the gated grounds/courtyard of Rull Granary. *Only 1 cot is provided, bring your own travel cot.
