Welcome to Teg, a delightful shepherd's hut with plenty of vibrant charm that overlooks the gorgeous Cornish countryside. This fabulous retreat is dog-friendly and close to the pretty seaside town of Porthleven, making it the perfect place to call home as you explore Cornwall.

Approached via leafy Cornish lanes, you'll find Teg nestled in the corner of a peaceful field, with stunning rural views. The hut's exterior minimalist design and pastel tones wonderfully complement its gorgeous natural surroundings and this continues inside with charming artwork and wooden furnishings giving the space a real sense of home.

A fantastic dining space greets you as you enter, with lovely fabric stools providing the ideal place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. A compact kitchen sits on the right of the hut, equipped with a double-ring electric hob, kettle and a fridge. To the left of the hut, you'll find the incredibly snug double bed with a delightful window above it, allowing the fresh air and crisp morning sunlight to flow into the hut. There is no TV at Teg, but there is a brilliant selection of books to enjoy. There's also a great radio tucked away so you can soundtrack your holiday with some feel-good tunes. A handy shower-room can be found at the end of the hut where you can freshen up after a day out exploring.

Outside, there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the Cornish air. A picnic table and bench provide brilliant places to delve into your favourite book on a hazy afternoon and in the evenings, unwind on the inviting deck chairs with a glass of something special. Once it comes round to dinner time, the rustic fire-pit and accompanying cooking bowl make al fresco dining easy on those warm summer evenings. Enjoy sitting back and watching the birds, or once dusk has fallen spot the bats and keep an eye out for the local badger who likes to pop by and say hello.

At the other end of the field, you'll find the owners' cottage and they are always happy to help with any issues you may have but will respect your privacy during your stay.

Teg's location in the peaceful Cornish hamlet of Prospidnick means there are plenty of fabulous walks right on your doorstep.

The pretty town of Porthleven is only a 10 minute drive away and is full of independent shops and fantastic places to eat. Pop into the gorgeous Ship Inn for a local pint or head over to The Square for a romantic meal (booking is advisable). Nauti But Ice is a great place to grab your morning coffee and Ced's Bagels is the place to go for lunch.

If you're willing to travel further afield the vibrant town of Falmouth is a must-visit. The Helford passage is also nearby and provides the perfect spot for an evening walk or a tranquil swim. Further south, you'll find much to do on the Lizard peninsula with Kynance Cove and Cadgwith both excellent places to visit. Head to the north coast and find Godrevy, a perfect spot for surfing while St Ives is also a popular destination due to its lovely galleries and range of places to eat.
