DoubleIf you're craving the golden sand and turquoise waters of Cornwall, and a gorgeous cottage to return to at the end of the day, then look no further than Greycott. An oh so beautiful, semi-detached, coastal escape sleeping eight, this is the perfect choice for an unforgettable Cornish holiday by the sea.
Step inside to discover the welcoming and vibrant kitchen and dining space. The fabulous kitchen has everything you might need for cooking up a breakfast feast or preparing a picnic to take with you to the beach. Perch at the breakfast-bar with your morning coffee and enjoy long, lazy lunches and sociable suppers at the dining-table, with its wonderful views out to the garden.
The sitting-room is beautifully furnished, and you can easily imagine yourself unwinding here after a day exploring this special corner of Cornwall. Light the wood-burner, pour a glass of your favourite tipple and sink into the super comfy sofas and armchairs. Soak up the coastal vibe and admire the colourful, stylish touches throughout your lovely haven.
Head upstairs to discover the four gorgeous bedrooms. You'll find three bedrooms on the first floor, and the gorgeous main bedroom on the second floor, decorated in calming coastal blues with a sumptuous double bed, beautiful views over the countryside and a fabulous en suite shower-room. There's a very sweet twin room and a cute bunk room which the children will love! Finally there's a gorgeous double room - ideal for leisurely breakfasts in bed after a restful night's sleep. The family bathroom is quite a treat, with a simply divine free-standing bathtub and a spacious, stylish shower. You're sure to look forward to a long soak in the tub after a day of adventuring - bliss.
Outside, the garden is a fabulous spot for sun-soaked dining, with a cute terrace area with a table and chairs and a lovely lawn with a picnic table, perfect for those sunny lunches and Cornish cream teas.
The idyllic village of Crantock enjoys a slower pace of life than the nearby vibrant town of Newquay, allowing you the perfect opportunity to switch off and relax on your well-deserved holiday. With its golden sand beaches and gorgeous waters, a day at the beach will be right at the top of your holiday wish list, along with exploring the picturesque village itself, with its thatched cottages, cute tea rooms and breathtaking coast path. There's a fantastic choice of eateries in the village, and we highly recommend soaking up the Mediterranean vibes of Jam Jar, with its delicious artisan pizza and a chilled glass of wine.
The rather charming village of St Agnes is nearby, and well worth visiting during your stay. You can easily while away a day discovering the independent shops, coffee shops and restaurants, soaking up the unforgettable beauty of the coastline and stopping at Trevaunance Cove for a dip in the sea. If you're in search of more of north Cornwall's golden sand beaches, Perranporth and Watergate Bay are within easy reach. The popular town of Padstow is not too far away and is a great choice for a day out, with its seaside shops, art galleries and pubs. Whilst you're there, you can hire a bike and cycle along the Camel Trail, and once you arrive back at Padstow, sample the delicious local produce in one of the wonderful eateries and watch the comings and goings of the harbour.
