DoubleTucked away in the heart of the picturesque and historic town of Marazion is this cute little retreat - a lovingly restored cottage perfect for small families or couples. Arty and characterful with the most amazing sea views from every window, Number 4 Sea View has been lovingly furnished to make it a sweet and traditional holiday home in a timeless Cornish setting.
Step inside to find plenty of original features and lots of charm. The sitting/dining-room is a joy and has plenty of comfy seating and a toasty wood-burner, perfect for cosy evenings in catching up on the day's adventures. Towards the back of the room, you'll find a wonderful dining-table perfect for hosting hearty breakfasts before venturing out on the day's adventures. Through the doorway sits the well-equipped kitchen complete with its own little window, enabling you to make the most of the lush evening sunshine as you prepare a delicious warming dinner.
Whitewashed cottage stairs (steep and narrow in places) take you upstairs, where you will find two beautiful bedrooms located over two floors. The main bedroom is located on the second floor, where exposed beams enclose an indulgent double bed in the cosy double bedroom. Wake up to a fresh sea breeze creeping in through the magnificent double window, purposefully left unadorned to take advantage of the stunning views out towards St Michael's Mount. A delightful twin room sits on the first floor, offering a lovely peaceful space to rest those weary heads after a big day of exploring (please note the bedroom leads out onto a stepped landing). The superbly finished shower-room makes up the rest of the first floor, equipped with a shower, toilet and wash-basin allowing you to fully refresh after a sun-soaked day on the beach.
Once you've settled into your home-from-home, venture out on unforgettable adventures around this picturesque area. Famous St Michael's Mount is only a stone's throw away and is a must-visit with its submerging causeway and dramatic castle dating back to the mid-1600s.
A bit further south sits Praa Sands, a fantastic beach that is very popular with local surfers due to its reliable and approachable waves. Alternatively, for those looking for a more secluded spot, Prussia Cove is a beautifully tranquil destination to explore in the low, evening sun.
If you fancy a bite to eat, there is plenty to chose from in Marazion while the idyllic fishing town of Porthleven is only an 18 minute drive away and is home to some fabulous food to sample.
