KingTake in the spellbinding, panoramic sea views and experience the joy of Pembrokeshire from Seascape, an exquisitely and lovingly restored 18th Century traditional stone cottage, which is surrounded by the magnificence and natural beauty of the north Pembrokeshire coastline. This spacious property exudes coastal luxury, where the traditional effortlessly combines with the contemporary, retaining the character of the former cottage, with exposed beams, lime-washed walls, stone floors and traditional wooden thumb latch doors. There is under-floor heating throughout to keep you toasty warm. Abereiddy beach with the enchanting Blue Lagoon and the wide sandy beach of Traeth Llyfn is nearby.
Step inside the fabulously spacious open plan living space and marvel at the view. The fantastic 'top of the range' well-equipped kitchen benefits from high quality appliances, having all you need to create that special holiday meal. Ty Eufron has been owned by the family for over 70 years, a lovely touch is the neon light 'Cegin Mam' (Mam's kitchen). Ideal for entertaining and family gatherings, the large open plan accommodation invites the idyllic location in through the large sliding doors, which access the large patio and garden area.
In the heart of the cottage, sit around the wood-burner together in the Cwtch, the cosy snug, just off the kitchen and plan the next day's excursions. There's lots to do, including glorious beaches and the dramatic coastline to explore, the nearby Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, boat trips and many family attractions.
From the dining-area climb the locally hand-crafted, bespoke spiral staircase to the quiet reading-room and immerse yourself in the spectacular beauty of the views. Sleep peacefully in the four beautifully appointed bedrooms with luxurious beds and sumptuous mattresses; the rooms are embellished throughout with luxurious soft furnishings, including Welsh woollen throws and cushions. Imagine breakfast in bed daydreaming out to sea, across the meadows and clifftops. The en suite wet-room has a huge rain effect shower and designer Italian tiles. One of the characterful double bedrooms is situated on the ground floor near one of the three exceptional bath/wet-rooms, which has a large slate tiled floor. After a day in the Pembrokeshire sea air, totally unwind in the roll-top bath in the family bathroom on the first floor.
The patio is the perfect spot for enjoying the magnificent sunsets in the glow of the fire-pit, dining al fresco or for sunny, leisurely holiday breakfasts. An outside shower is in place for sandy dogs and wetsuits.
Seascape is just a short stroll to the local pub and well-equipped garage shop, which has a bakery and sells a wide variety of products from household items to sacks of logs and kindling. The enchanting, small city of St Davids is a ten minute drive away, with restaurants, pubs, galleries and bespoke shops. Visit the magnificent Cathedral and Bishop's Palace, book a boat trip to see the local sea life, including dolphins and seals. Visit Skomer Island, embarking from St Martin's Haven, in the summer months to watch the delightful puffins. The popular beach at Whitesands is a surfer's paradise, as is Newgale Beach a short drive away. Both have stretches of golden sands which children will love. The old harbour at Porthgain is a five minute drive away. Treat yourself to the best fish and chips in The Shed or good pub food in The Sloop Inn. Why not take a day trip to the pretty seaside town of Tenby and maybe visit Caldey Island. Children will love Folly Farm, the Dinosaur Park, Heatherton World of Adventure or Oakwood Park.
Throughout the year, Seascape offers the perfect base to explore the idyllic surrounding area for a very memorable Pembrokeshire holiday.
