Magnolia View is a cleverly converted wing of the original farmhouse, offering accommodation all on one level in the corner of a working dairy farm. Recently renovated to a high standard, the delightful apartment retains lots of original features and excellently mixes modern living with old charm. From the moment you turn down the farm track and trundle along to the farmyard, you couldn't feel closer to the countryside.
Entering through the utility-room which is just perfect for leaving coats and wellies in, you will then find yourself in the brand-new kitchen/dining-room with gorgeous original flagstone floors. Holiday meals in here will be special and even the most discerning chef will be delighted with how well-equipped the kitchen is. Just off the kitchen/dining-room is the sitting-room, complete with impressive wood-burner and large windows that flood this room with light. Out-of-season this room is perfect for hiding away in with a good book, listening to the flames flicker.
A sumptuous super-king size bed awaits you in the main bedroom and there is still plenty of room for all of your holiday belongings. The window of this bedroom looks out to the farmyard but the hedgerow set back on the edge of the garden ensures privacy. A sweet single room with pretty bed linen and homely features completes the bedrooms. In the bathroom there is a fabulous, original roll-top bath that has been lovingly restored by the owners as well as a large separate shower cubicle.
Outside the garden wraps around the front and side of the apartment and a thoughtfully installed trellis separates your area from the owners' garden. It is a great spot for barbecues and summer evenings, with nothing but the sounds of the countryside.
