May Cottage is a wonderful, terraced character cottage located within driving distance of the dramatic unspoilt north Devon coastline. The local village of Woolsery is just two miles away where you will find The Farmers Arms and the locally renowned Woolsery fish and chips! The cottage has been styled beautifully giving a welcoming home-from-home feel. This warm welcome is also extended to your four-legged friend with 16 acres of communal grounds to enjoy so the morning walk will be a treat. The cottage is part of the Clifford Farm Estate development surrounded by picturesque views of the countryside that allows you to truly escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life; we are sure you will not want to leave!
As you enter the cottage you will be greeted by a wonderful open plan living-room with fully equipped kitchen and a perfectly positioned dining-area that floods with light owing to the dual-aspect windows with patio doors that lead on to the patio and lawned garden. The sitting-area really is snug with a cosy sofa and large armchair making this the ideal spot to snuggle down and enjoy a family film at the end of the day.
The first floor is accessed via the fun spiral staircase where you will find two cosy bedrooms. Both bedrooms offer the ideal spot to recharge with beautiful linens, stylish furnishings and of course more views of the picturesque countryside. Bedroom one is a sumptuous bedroom with a double bed and across the small landing you will find bedroom two. This is a super versatile room with a 'zip and link' bed so it can either be a king-size double or twin beds, you choose! The shower-room is also located on this floor.
The garden has the perfect spot for the best of al fresco living with that all-important charcoal barbecue allowing you to cook up a feast. The garden has a fence marking the perimeter, but this is not fully enclosed so offers an escape route for the explorers in the party. The cottage comes with two allocated parking spaces in a designated parking area on the estate meaning that the estate is both safe and quiet. As guests you also have full access to a shared laundry-room with coin operated washing machines and tumble-driers.
Please note there is a lake on the estate so children need to be accompanied.
