Tucked away in a beautiful corner of east Devon, Pendragon Pod is a true unique hideaway, boasting glorious countryside views and is the perfect place to really 'get-away-from-it-all'. Such a peaceful spot is this that you'll be hard stretched to hear anything but bird-song and the rustling of the trees in the gentle breeze.
Step inside the double doors and you will be met with an excellently laid-out space and all the home comforts you could wish for - a well-equipped kitchen, super-comfortable bed (facing the double-doors so you can enjoy a morning coffee whilst taking in the view!) and a modern en suite shower-room. When the weather is being a little less kind, the snuggly sofa is the perfect spot to curl up in front of the warming wood-burner and read a book.
The outside space at Pendragon Pod is just as special and overlooks rolling east Devon farmland. Whether you want to catch some rays with a glass of fizz or toast marshmallows over the fire-pit barbecue, we are sure you will make many happy holiday memories. If nature-spotting is on your to-do list, you will be spoiled. There are seven acres of woodland adjacent to the pod, known as Rag Coppice, which you are most welcome to explore; keep your eyes peeled for birds, Roe deer, foxes and badgers. The owners have even supplied a motion-activated wildlife camera for you to use and see who has been visiting overnight. The very friendly and welcoming owners live nearby but you are assured of the upmost privacy so you can switch off and relax.
Your four-legged friend is very welcome and is sure to enjoy the network of footpaths right on the doorstep. There's even a super-cute dog-pod outside which we are sure will delight your pooch.
It would be understandable if you wanted to hide yourself away at this lovely pod for the duration of your holiday, however if we can tempt you away then there is lots locally to explore. Three beautiful counties of Devon, Dorset and Somerset are all within an easy reach, not to mention the stunning Jurassic Coast, only a short drive away. Just eight miles away is popular Lyme Regis, a great spot with both a pebble and sandy beach as well as many fantastic eateries. The picturesque east Devon seaside towns of Seaton, Beer, and Branscombe make great days out, or head inland to Forde Abbey, or the beautiful Blackdown Hills. Pendragon Pod is a destination you will want to return to for sure.
