If you were looking for cottages like Old Mill Barn, how about trying these:

If you long for a wonderfully peaceful rural setting with the sounds of the countryside as your playlist, then look no further than the immaculately presented Old Mill Barn. Tucked away down a quiet country lane in the tiny hamlet of Treveighan, surrounded by fields and open countryside, the clifftop walks, golden sandy beaches and picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac are only a few miles away, so it’s also a great base for exploring.

Decorated and furnished with the utmost care, the owner, who lives next door, has taken great pride in ensuring that you have the most comfortable of stays in this reversed level semi-detached barn conversion with quality evident throughout.

The open plan living-room is wonderfully spacious taking up the whole of the first floor and certainly has the wow factor with its high vaulted ceiling, exposed A frames and some of the old mill workings, as a nod to its agricultural past. Adding further charm to Old Mill Barn and befitting of its rural setting is the selection of pictures and artefacts of farmyard animals displayed throughout – they’re great.

Downstairs the two bedrooms have the most comfy of beds ensuring a good night’s sleep, setting you up for another day exploring this wonderful part of Cornwall. The king-size room has its own en suite shower-room and there’s also a family bathroom, so no queues in the morning when you are getting ready to set out. The twin bedroom can be made up as a double if required, please let us know when booking.

A small enclosed garden is accessed through the twin bedroom, a delightful spot to enjoy a morning cuppa, and a further garden area is also available to sit out and enjoy glimpses of the far reaching views across the open countryside and watch the sun setting in the west.
