No expense has been spared returning this cottage to its current glory. With elegant colour schemes, a luxurious roll-top bath and a Bang & Olufsen television, this property has been designed and lovingly prepared to offer you a truly luxury experience.

Your location is equally as special. The Old Post Office is within striking distance of the most famous tor on Dartmoor, Haytor, which makes a day rambling on the moors a must. Returning home to the treat of strolling around the corner to the welcoming village pub for a bite to eat is perfect!

Whether you've been exploring the moors, taking a trip to one or all of the nearby South Hams' villages and towns, or spending the day at one of the beautiful beaches nearby, returning to the luxury of The Old Post Office at the end of an action-packed day is a real treat.

The Old Post Office also has a compact enclosed courtyard which is ideal for sparking the barbecue up and dining al fresco. The location is certainly a feature to this property. Not only are you staying within one of the most picturesque Dartmoor villages, your access to the A38 is exceptionally easy; exploring is made very simple and stress-free. Visiting some of the iconic and popular villages and towns such as Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Babbacombe, Dartmouth and Brixham is a doddle, and very much worthwhile as each of these beautiful places has something very special to offer.

You also have a fabulous selection of beautiful beaches within a reasonable car drive away. Teignmouth is a traditional seaside family beach with perfect sand for sandcastles, and there are several cafes along the promenade for fish and chips or an ice cream. Shaldon is a popular choice for a number of water sports including sailing, fishing, swimming, canoeing and rowing.

However why venture out at all when you are located within one of the most spectacular and sought-after locations, Dartmoor.
