End Cottage

End Cottage offers great accommodation with four bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms so there won't be queues in the mornings, and a pressurised hot water system and drench head showers guarantee shower heaven. All bedrooms have Smart TVs so all tastes are catered for and children can be kept happy with their favourite programmes. There is a cosy sitting/dining-room with an open fire and a central, open-tread staircase leading up to the rooms above. A ground floor wet-room separates this room from the fully equipped Shaker-style kitchen, all fitted and furnished to a very high standard and including a Nespresso machine for that all-important morning beverage.

A contemporary, glazed link leads from the kitchen to a split-level en suite double bedroom with a super king-size (6') bed with full height apex ceiling, a wonderful room offering a degree of privacy from the rest of the cottage so perfect for grandparents or young couples wishing for a little peace and quiet.

Upstairs are beautifully decorated double (king-size), twin and single bedrooms (the single with an additional truckle bed able to accommodate an extra child) and the family bathroom, complete with over-bath drench head shower. With the latest WiFi controlled electric central heating system, you are guaranteed a comfortable holiday whatever time of year you visit, and you can snuggle in front of the open fire in cooler months.

Veryan village is wonderfully picturesque with its own special charm, beautifully and proudly maintained in tip-top order by its inhabitants. Five thatched circular roundhouses mark the entrances to the village, a unique feature seen nowhere else. A 13th Century church and 16th Century inn proves the longevity of this village and once visited, you'll understand why the locals love it so. There is a sports field and playground, cafes and a village shop, with lovely local beaches at East and West Portholland, Carne, Pendower and St Mawes, the nearest just a mile and a half away. Swimming, bodyboarding, rock-pooling and sandcastle building will keep the younger ones happy, while discerning adults will be delighted with fabulous restaurants at Driftwood, The Rosevine, The Idle Rocks and Hotel Tresanton.
