The Boat House
357 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like The Boat House, how about trying these:
In an idyllic location just across the lane from the water’s edge in the quaint little village of Golant, this detached, former boat house has been transformed into a comfortable, welcoming cottage. The accommodation is reversed so that the living area has the benefit of wonderful views over the river. In this light and airy room white walls and prints complement a mixture of antiques and comfortable furnishings, and the dining-area looks out over the inner harbour. Downstairs, the bedrooms are cosy (please note, the double bed is accessed from one side only), and share the water views. In an elevated position to the side of The Boat House, the private patio (just across from Kiln Cottage (1619), with which the narrow driveway is shared) provides a lovely spot from which to watch the boats go by, or any activity on the occasionally-used freight railway line nearby. Famous for its attractive villages, dramatic clifftop walks and fine sandy coves, this stretch of the south coast offers plenty of interest for everyone.
