This superb two-storey, first floor apartment dating back to 1863 is located on the outskirts of Shanklin. 10 Shanklin Manor has an elegant, monochrome interior and the use of a large private roof terrace, which is fully enclosed and offers beautiful views over the landscaped communal grounds.

Spread over two floors the accommodation is spacious and comfortable throughout. The bright kitchen has been equipped with all you need to whip up some fantastic holiday meals and doors lead into the open plan living space, where at the end of a busy day exploring the island, you can relax together. The single bedroom is on this floor. Climbing the stairs will take you to the last two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a double bed - both rooms have the benefit of en suite shower-rooms and balconies. For those wanting a moment to relax, the bathroom is the perfect place to catch a moment to yourself.

The roof terrace is a brilliant spot for enjoying the sunshine - have breakfast, lunch or dinner al fresco or curl on a lounger with a book and a glass of something bubbly to enjoy.

If you can tear yourself away, Shanklin Old Village is nearby with a variety of places to eat and drink, with the historic Chine gorge leading straight down to the beach beyond. Shanklin is a characterful seaside town on the south east coast, overlooking Sandown Bay and the Solent. Nearby attractions include the much-photographed Old Village with pretty, thatched cottages and the wooded ravine of Shanklin Chine. The town has a great choice of eclectic shops and eateries, ideal for a holiday on the island at any time of year.

A short drive away the charming Victorian town of Ventnor awaits, with a fabulous beach, harbour and bandstand, days out here will be fun filled and action packed. Visit the Ventnor Botanic Gardens, a beautifully kept 22 acre sub-tropical paradise. Further afield, the iconic Needles is worth a visit and brave members of the party might take the famous chairlift down to the beach below. With miles of fabulous coastal walks, woodlands and sandy beaches, the Isle of Wight is somewhere you will look to return to year after year.
