Lena Cottage is just beautiful with a cosy sitting/dining-room, a wood-burner and under-floor heating which keeps the slate floors downstairs warm underfoot. A modern well-equipped kitchen will encourage guests to cook up a holiday treat, and upstairs the two lovely bedrooms have oak-flooring and high quality linens and furnishings. Utter bliss!

Once you are fully relaxed and rejuvenated, why not make the most of the outside facilities (shared with neighbouring Ida Cottage (3293) and Giles Cottage (3856)). You could play a spot of football with the children, or simply watch them bounce around on the trampoline, if you don't fancy a go yourself of course! A favourite spot will be the games area, again shared with the other guests. Holidays are all about making new friends, especially whilst playing table-tennis or maybe table-football - the teens will always be entertained! All this activity can then be followed by a picnic laid out on the perfectly placed picnic table next to the bubbling river. Sounds like the perfect afternoon!

In the same family for 150 years, Grade II Listed Wringworthy Farm, mentioned in the Domesday Book, is set in a gorgeous spot in Dartmoor National Park.

Dating back to the early 1500s, it was once the home of Sir Francis Drake's great niece, Elizabeth Drake, who lived there in the 17th Century with her husband, the local squire William Cake.

Set in 75 acres of farmland with sheep grazing, Lena Cottage, Ida Cottage and Giles Cottage are all beautiful cottages named after family members. There are some splendid walks along the River Burn which borders one side of a large meadow and even a secret pool where you can paddle on summer days (do take care with children by the water).
