This pretty semi-detached cottage for two is nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (now known as National Landscapes) on West Hembury Farm.

Badgers Cottage is an 18th Century stone barn that has been beautifully converted into a relaxing retreat. The cottage is all on one level giving it a most welcoming feel from the moment you step through the door. The stylish deVOL kitchen is a cook's delight, with ceramic hob and double oven, it is the perfect space for creating delicious meals. The wood-burner in the living area ensures you can keep toasty and warm for those snug out-of-season breaks. After a long day the bedroom offers absolute relaxation with the super-comfy six-foot bed. For added flexibility it can also be made up as two singles. Outside, there is an enclosed garden so that you can be assured of your four-legged friends' safety while you sit back and enjoy a cool glass of something yummy.

For keen walkers, West Hembury Farm is situated perfectly. Offering lots of places where you can enjoy the West Dorset countryside. Badgers Cottage is just four miles away from the bustling market town of Bridport that has 'market days' twice a week showcasing lots of quirky stalls and delicious local delicacies. A short drive away is the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast and West Bay, where some of Broadchurch was filmed.

From the farm you can gaze across the valley towards Eggardon Hill, a National Trust owned Iron Age hill fort; with gorgeous views towards Golden Cap and diverse wildlife, it is well worth a visit. This working farm has Gotland sheep and lambs in spring time; horses and spaniels give the yard an appeal that children will remember a long time after their holiday.
