This cottage has a stunning hilltop position above the popular village of Stockland near Honiton, with fabulous views across the unspoilt east Devon countryside towards the Jurassic Coast. Golden Square Cottage is peacefully located yet easy access makes it an excellent holiday base. This cleverly designed cottage has a welcoming contemporary interior with a spacious sitting/dining-room that celebrates the views, a wood-burner and an energy efficient solar hot water system. Two steps lead to the newly fitted kitchen and upstairs both bedrooms have wonderful views from the full length French windows (lockable but please take care); the double bedroom has a pretty child’s day bed and the second bedroom offers either twins or a 6’ ‘zip and link’ bed. There is a sheltered private deck at the front and a lovely orchard below that. The cottage faces away from the Owners’ home giving complete privacy but you are welcome to get a feel of life on this friendly smallholding and meet the animals.
