If you were looking for cottages like The Threshing Barn, how about trying these:

Stunning is over-used when describing properties but in the case of this fabulous barn conversion, it really does apply. Completely restored and refurbished, The Threshing Barn has ash flooring throughout and Scandinavian pine beams (glulams, for those in the know) give support to the arched, vaulted ceiling in the incredibly spacious, open plan first floor living space. A state of the art wood-burner adds an extra warm welcome, and large sofas encourage relaxation. The first floor is quite amazing and certainly has that ‘wow’ factor often promised and seldom realised. An up to the minute kitchen with all mod-cons will thrill the cooks amongst you and no doubt many evenings will be spent around the dining-table enjoying the results of their efforts. The master bedroom, also on the first floor, has a magnificent bathroom. Downstairs are five further simple yet stylishly furnished bedrooms, two of which form part of a suite with its own bathroom, ideal for a family. Facing south with wonderful views down the Teign Valley, this is a beautiful part of Devon. There is a garden behind the house and a decked area accessed from the living-room – perfect for relaxing on a summer evening. The nearby village of Ashton has a pub, shop and Post Office and the renowned Nobody Inn in Doddiscombsleigh is a two mile drive. With wonderful walks and riding almost on the doorstep, you are also within a half-hour’s drive of the south Devon coast. All in all, The Threshing Barn is one of the most unique houses and will stay in your heart long after leaving. There is a private water supply (regularly tested).
