Fabulous sea views from this exceptionally spacious, south-facing detached house extend from the Rame peninsula in one direction, to St George's Island at Looe in the other. A gate at the end of the large enclosed garden gives private access to steps down to Downderry beach, dog-friendly all year round and a paradise for children with sand for castle building, rock pools for exploring, and sailing, windsurfing and surfing year-round.

Sundown is ideal for families to share, with masses of space both inside and out. With a huge sitting-room and equally spacious kitchen/dining-room everyone can enjoy meals and leisure time together, while six bedrooms and five shower/bath rooms ensure no queues at bedtime.

Things get better still in the games-room with a half-size pool table, table-tennis, air hockey and table-football - plenty to keep everyone occupied whatever the weather.

The village has a beachside pub with an excellent restaurant, and there is a cafe, a coffee shop and a small general store as well and just along the coast is the traditional seaside town of Looe. The setting of the BBC drama 'Beyond Paradise', here you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing, enjoy fish and chips and yummy Cornish ice cream, or wander through the streets browsing the shops and galleries.

Sundown is fully kitted out for holiday comfort and beautifully presented with interiors that perfectly complement the seaside setting. The large sitting-room includes inviting sofas, a modern wood-burner, a hideaway gaming-area, as well as a second sitting-area overlooking the garden. The kitchen/dining-room is fully equipped for large gatherings, with a large electric range cooker, perfect when catering for a crowd. a built-in coffee maker and a separate wine fridge. You can grab a quick bite perched at the breakfast-bar and when dining altogether you can all gather around the large rustic dining-table.

A ground floor bedroom has versatile 'zip and link' beds along with a stylish en suite shower-room, perfect for those with limited mobility or who prefer a little more privacy. Upstairs, the huge principal bedroom has an enormous sleigh bed, own sitting-area, en suite bathroom and patio doors opening onto a large, glass-fenced balcony with breathtaking views over the garden and out to the glistening sea waters - it's a wonderful spot for morning coffee and evening sundowners.

There are four more bedrooms, two are en suite and two share the family bathroom.

The delightful twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are nearby, where pretty terraced fishermen's cottages jostle for space in narrow lanes and old smugglers' pubs still ply their trade. A passenger ferry crosses to the Barbican in Plymouth, perfect for an exciting day out.

For outdoor excitement a walk along the coastal path is a must and when the tides and wind are right, there is even surfing in Whitsand Bay.

There is plenty for everyone to do in this hidden corner of Cornwall - but most of all, you will enjoy the delights of Sundown itself.
