Hobnob
1796 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Hobnob, how about trying these:
What a fabulous place Hobnob is. A grand Grade II (starred) Listed semi-detached house set in the grounds of the 350 acre Rousdon Estate, the half-mile journey down the tree-lined drive will make you realise just how grand. Hobnob is part of the Stable Courtyard alongside the mansion formerly owned by Sir Henry Peek. Entering the spacious hall, the oak stairway sweeps up to a sitting-area on the landing. The three particularly well presented bedrooms are also on the first floor. A double bedroom lies next to the bathroom, and a hallway leads past the twin bedroom to the master bedroom. This boasts an en suite shower-room with a step up into the double shower. From the bedrooms, the estate church and churchyard can be seen across the large enclosed walled garden. On the ground floor, the kitchen/diner has a central island, all mod-cons and granite work surfaces. The elegant sitting-room has leather sofas and a log-effect electric fire. As well as direct access to the South West Coastal path, one of the many walks within the estate takes you to the private Charton beach (steep access, please take care). Enjoy the World Heritage Site Jurassic Coast, where you can search for fossils or go sea-fishing.
