Oystercatcher is the perfect holiday home! As soon as you enter: the outlook of the cove, with the constant sound of the sea; the tranquility of being away from a town; along with the comfort of the cottage; relaxes you instantly. Our week was much needed after nearly two years without a holiday and we could not have chosen a more idyllic place. The cottage has everything that you could wish for and would need - nothing is lacking at all, from a kitchen utensil to a pair of binoculars for looking out to sea! In the current situation, where hygiene and cleanliness is so important, you need not worry; Oystercatcher is spotless, with ample cleaning resources being available when required. Maria, the housekeeper is also easily contactable if necessary, although I doubt you would need to, as everything has been thought of and provided for. Exceeded expectations! We had a wonderful week in this comfortable cottage with breakfast outside admiring the everchanging, exhilarating view every day. The coastal footpath is just out the back and up the hill with fish and chips and pasties a five minute walk away. The weather and wildlife made it perfect! Choughs, badgers and foxes and seals and jolly little fishing boats with flocks of seagulls chugging into the harbour! Cornwall at its most charming. The beach is cleaned by the Atlantic and the sand is soft and white and the sea Carribean blue with perfect surf when the sun shines. What more could anyone want on holiday! We loved it and the cottage made a great base to return to and recharge every day with the Atlantic panorama and sound of the waves just outside the window. ...
