A lovely property, very well furnished and supplied. A cream tea on arrival and a warm welcome from the owner who was very informative about local amenities and attractions. Polurrian Bay beach is within walking distance down a bridle path and although our visit was during the lovely hot weather and school holidays it was never crowded - good surf too! The village is a great base for visiting south west Cornwall, and has a well-stocked Spar shop, two pubs which serve food, plus a restaurant and a curry takeaway trailer. So well-equipped, comfortable and well located. All the small touches - basics in the fridge, salt and pepper mills, loo rolls, soap and cleaning equipment and the excellent cream tea on arrival - made our stay extra-special.
