Trewane Mill is one of the best places we have stayed in Cornwall. Not only is it full of character and comfort, it is also situated in such a peaceful and beautiful wooded location. Each morning we were woken by the most wonderful Spring dawn chorus from so many birds. At night we were able to stand outside and see the most amazing starry sky without any light pollution. It is a nature lover’s paradise and we didn’t want to leave....

We stayed at Trewane Mill about 4 years ago and had forgotten how lovely the location is. The Mill is situated away from the main house and the other holiday accommodation and is very quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped....

The house and especially the equipment were absolutely outstanding!! Furniture, stores, dishes, cooking facilities (AGA!), and all the stuff a housewife needs has a singular spirit of generosity, taste, and style. The rooms are lovely both for living and sleeping because of the absolutely quietness and wonderful nature surrounding the estate which breaths history and modern requirements aswell. We hope that everyone who is allowed to stay a little bit of time in those inspiring environment is able to appreciate this privilege. The one single fact to critizise is the lack of pressure in the shower (but this is a recurrent phenomenon in British cottages). ...
