The location of this cottage is ideal for those seeking a peaceful holiday in the countryside but within walking distance of a shingle beach, with a very nice pub and a cafe for refreshments. It should be noted that the walk to the beach is only for those who are fit and able, but luckily you can drive down and park if you prefer. The holiday is also ideal for those with dog(s) as the garden at the cottage is secure and the beach and the pub are dog friendly too. A great location for peace and quiet, I’ve visited the South Hams a lot and the combination of tranquility with Beesands a walk away (albeit a stiff walk back up) was great…we didn’t need to go far as walks, water and good food were on the doorstep. It does feel private and your not overlooked although there are close neighbours. The kitchen furniture and equipment could do with an upgrade….but the location more than makes up for it....
