We had a lovely 3 day, the cottage was perfect for us, tucked away but close to lots of amazing places that East Sussex and Kent have to offer. It was very clean and very comfortable and we would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

Gingers Green is a welcoming property. Spotlessly clean, with useful guides on the local area in which there is much to explore. Coast, countryside (the salt marshes run by the Wildlife Trust are good for a fairly lenghty, accessible walk) history and science (the observatory was grand, fun and informative). After all the exploring you can return to watch the squirrels from the comfort of this quite lovely cottage. We felt very welcome, loved the pictures and the homeliness. The owners have worked hard to achieve and maintain this and it was much appreciated. We needed this holiday and relaxed and truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you...

Beautifully clean. Credit to the housekeeper Anita! Nice location and very quiet. There are a couple of houses around, but you can't really see them and you're not overlooked. Nicely equipped. And Herstmonceux turned out to be a friendly village with a great bakery and coffee shop. ...

Comfortable romantic cottage in wonderful countryside surroundings. Anita was on hand if required and left us a little gift which was much appreciated. We found everything we needed in the cottage and had a lovely evening by the firepit in the tranquil setting. We would stay here again as it had all the homely comforts you need.
