This was our second stay at The Copps, we enjoyed it so much last year that we stayed for 2 weeks this time. Again, everything was perfect! Karen, the property owner, is so welcoming and friendly and it’s definitely worth asking her about the local area as she has gems of information about local beaches and walks! There are plenty of both in driving distance (dog friendly too!) and places to visit and then you get to come back to the fantastic courtyard and hot tub which is just blissful to ease the aches after walking the rugged coastal path! The property is located in a peaceful lane where all you can hear are birds and maybe the odd sheep. There is everything you need here and more, we spent most of our days out and about until mid afternoon and then coming back to chill and recharge at The Copps. I truly can’t think of anything negative to comment on. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back at some point in the future!...

Excellent holiday cottage. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out, from outlets being in the right place, high quality bedding and towels, and excellent cookware. It was absolutely perfect!

We had a great week at the Cops in early July. The bungalow is excellent - very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The huge bed is really good and the hot tub great after a long walk. The owner is really nice and helpful but also unobtrusive. As can be seen on the photos there is a quite high fence all round the property which cuts out the view but at the same time does provide total privacy. There are of course many great views when you're out and about. You can reach the coast path on foot in approx 20 mins and there are also handy car parks very near the coast path in several places just a short drive away. The coast here is spectacular - we loved waking along it. Also visited Hartland Abbey, RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill gardens - all super. Can recommend The Anchor pub which was excellent (approx 35 mins walk) and Pattard restaurant (20 mins walk - on the expensive side but lovely)....

Everything about this property was superb. Very clean and comfortable with so much attention to detail to ensure an amazing break. Home made scones on arrival so welcoming and delicious. Hot tub relaxing after a day of walking and the log burner so cosy to curl up in front of on colder evenings. We will definately return to this tranquil beautiful place. So many great places within easy reach to visit. ...
