Peaceful location: it feels like it's tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of life. But we went sight seeing and walking ever day as there's so much to do and see! Train ride to Looe, boat ride to Fowey, pasty in Mevagissy, lunch and shopping in Polperro, Poldark hunting in Charlestown and Spa day near St Austell. Walking on Bodmin Moor and we visited the Cheese Ring boulders and The Hurlers stone circles. We even fitted in a cream tea! Coming back to The Stable's quiet was blissful. Reading with a glass of wine was the perfect end to each day. The Stables was clean, modern, well equipped and a lovely hot shower! A great base and cottage for a memorable break. ...
