The arrival details were good, as were the directions to the cottage, although we do know the area quite well. The location is quiet, albeit along some very narrow lanes!

Our second visit to Swallows Rest. Fantastic cottage, immaculate with all you need for a relaxing break. The "super comfy " bed was a delight and ensured a good nights sleep ! Plenty to do in the area for both energetic ( and not so energetic ! ) walkers and for those who wish to wander and sightsee. Hope to return next year. ...

This is our second stay this year, once in May when we had 4 days of excellent weather and we're able to sit outside in the sunshine this time in October we, once again, had 5 days of an Indian summer and then a few wet , chilly days so we were able to enjoy the very efficient log burner. The cottage is well placed to be able to visit some lovely areas, including Prussia Cove, Perranuthnoe, Priests Cove as well as Marazion, Penzance and St Ives and the magical Minack Theatre. Claire and Graham very welcoming but unobtrusive , and Ralph and Winston very friendly....

We loved Swallow's Rest. It is just such a lovely property in a peaceful beautiful countryside location and we would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay off the beaten track yet within easy reach of all this area has to offer. Fabulous.
