Foxtor barn is an excellent choice for a wonderful holiday. The cottage is heavenly with a beautiful sitting room/kitchen with superb views of the dartmoor, cosy sofas and a well equipped kitchen. We slept really well in very comfortable and large beds (my 2 m tall husband liked that very much) everything was spotlessly clean. We also liked the location, Dartmoor is right there, Lydford Gorge within walking distance, Tavistock nearby as well as several National Trust Properties. Both myself and my friend recently enjoyed our 4 night stay at Foxtor Barn, which we booked for a crafting /relaxing time away. On arriving at the property, ( which was easy to find ) we were welcomed by surprise" goodies" left by the property owner. The Barn was Cosy , Clean , well equipped , furnished to a high standard and set in peaceful , beautiful location. Even the surrounding area was full of surprises too.... though definately needed to pack hiking boots. Highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future. We had the perfect stay at Foxtor Barn. It was so tranquil with lovely views and walks on to the moors. We were given a fabulous welcome pack and the barn is well equipped and beautifully decorated.
