This clean, well presented, cosy and welcoming cottage is just enough off the beaten track to help you relax and rest a while. The views from the windows and the pretty side garden are wonderful and we spent a lot of our time just looking out at them. Beds are big and comfy. Under floor heating in the bathrooms is a treat. Entry and exit to the property was easy. Clotted cream scones and lavender pillow spray a welcome bonus. We would recommend in an instant and will be returning. :-)...

Beautiful property with very nice decor in a wonderful, peaceful location.

A wonderful property in an atmospheric location. A homely place to return to after long winter walks. We would definitely return. Ourselves and our dog were made to feel welcome. There are lots of local walks on the moor and is within walking distance of Lydford Gorge. ...

Couldn’t recommend Haretor enough stunning !!! close to lots of places, scenery wow .

A stunning property in a gorgeous location with spellbinding views. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. The owners left us a lovely welcome note, there was a delicious cream tea and even treats for our dog, which we greatly appreciated. The kitchen is really well-equipped, and we found the sofas and bed really comfortable. Cosy and warm, it was perfect for an autumnal break with our dog as there are some lovely walks nearby. We ate at The Castle Inn in Lydford (about 5 mins by car), which was really good and the village also connects to The Granite Way, a shared cycling/walking route which was really good for walks with our dog. Nearby Okehampton and Tavistock were great for stocking up on supplies. We would thoroughly recommend this fabulous cottage without hesitation....
