Our stay at The Ruskins was just wonderful. The house and garden is really beautiful and a great size and the location is literally right on the beach and network of beautiful coastal paths. There’s a lovely beach cafe as well as the brilliant Pilot Boat pub/restaurant on the doorstep as well as gorgeous little Bembridge high street with a co op and cafes/bars/fishmongers/Boots etc 2 min walk away. Bembridge is a lovely village with ample shops and restaurants all within very easy reach. The cottage was lovely, clean and nicely furnished, but both bathrooms need updating. We really enjoyed our stay, the only downside was the weather. We did lots of walking and visiting, especially loved Osbourne House, Appuldercombe House, The Garlic Farm for a lovely lunch and Framptons and Fox's for dinner, both in Bembridge...

The property is located in a lovely part of the Isle of Wight. The restaurants / Pubs are all in walking distance & dogs are made to feel very welcome. We had a few nights that we stayed in to eat of which we had a BBQ & bought the meat from the local butcher & salad from the local green grocer’s all which was excellent. The second night we ordered a takeaway which was also very good. The property it’s self was clean & had all we needed for our stay. The garden was secure enough for the dogs & would be fine for young children. We would definitely stay here again....
