What a lovely cottage, cannot recommend it highly enough! It suited us as we wanted somewhere quiet but close to amenities and walks. The Castle Inn at the top of the hill was very friendly and welcoming with excellent food and beer. Dawlish was a lovely little town but Teignmouth and Shaldon had more to offer, enjoy the ferry ride across the Teign....

We had a fabulous week at Pooks Hill Cottage. The village is very quiet and relaxing with a lovely pub called the Castle situated at the top of the road, about a 3 minute walk. The Cottage is mmaculate, comfortable and very clean and wonderfully kitted out . The garden is very quaint, private and a sun trap is the afternoon. Its everything we expected and more. A beautiful 300 year old cottage full of old English charm and nice and roomy for a one bedroom place. Set in a beautiful village with other thatched properties, a pub within a few yards and very close to Dawlish and Teignmouth. A lot of thought had gone into making this an outstanding holiday rental.
