What a Gem of a property, everything you could ask for, even towels and bowls for our dog. The lodge is in a lovely tranquil location, turn LEFT from the park and in 6 mins you are on the main road A39 to either Bude or Bideford which are both a 25 mins drive. Clovelly is only a 15 mins drive. There is a table and chairs on the verander for outside eating which is all enclosed so our dog could not escape. On arrival we had a food parcel of bread, milk, eggs, jam and butter, tea and coffee so thoughtful. Even fresh flowers on the dining table. If your looking for a relaxing break away from it all then I would definitely recommend, we had an amazing time and cant wait to go back. Tamar Lakes which is only 20 mins away was great for kayaking we even took our dog out on the lake. ...

Great lodge in a secluded location. All home comforts included & the added bonus of a food package was great (bread, butter, milk, jam & clotted cream). For a change we did cook, this was because the lodge was well equipped for kitchen equipment. If i had to pick 1 negative, it would be just some areas where i felt cleaning could have been improved. But overall a fantastic experience and we would return back again....
