We’ve just come back from a stay in the lovely cottage, Cowan - 4 adults and a dog. What a wonderful place to base ourselves and a real home from home, from the lovely furniture, well appointed kitchen and sun trap back garden space. We took a dog with us and this place was also perfect as it had a communal shared area with other cottages, with an outdoor shower, washing line and dog bins. I can’t recommend Cowan highly enough as a place to stay - its location was perfect for us being 3 minutes walk to the fab beach and 5 minutes to get to the coastal path. Very nice place to stay with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Very comfortable and clean house with everything you need and comfortable beds. Theres a lot of thought gone into the interior it feels very relaxing.

Wonderful quiet location close to Harlyn Bay and coastal path. There is a good range of options for eating out in St Merryn plus local farm shops close by.

Comfortable cottage and good location. But the development where the cottage is , is not finished yet and the builders turn up every morning at 7.30 am ! They are very noisy and there is 10 + vans all over the place not very relaxing!
