Craddocks is an exceptionally lovely and well equipped new build house in beautiful Mousehole with the added bonus of parking. Everything has been thought of by the friendly owners Richard and Dawn to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

What a find lovely location, lovely house, and lovely owners.

A wonderful house in a great location - central yet tucked away, with easy parking! Craddock's Cottage is beautifully furnished and very well equipped - a perfect holiday home!

We enjoyed a lovely week at Craddocks Cottage, which is a comfortable, warm and very well located property, being a new build on the edge of Mousehole with the added benefit of parking for two cars. The November weather was kind to us and we were out for much of the day, but the cottage was lovely to retreat to at the end of a strenuous day’s walking, or sit and read/TV viewing on more inclement days. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, having everything you would need. The cottage is within a very short walk of the centre of Mousehole and crab sandwiches, cream teas, meals or just a drink in the garden of the pub overlooking the sea, are virtually on the doorstep. Coastal or beach walks are easily accessible from the cottage – we walked via Newlyn to Penzance, on Sennen Cove, Praa Sands, Porthcurno beach and visited the Minack theatre. A walk out to Logan Rock, from the pub of the same name in Treen is well worth the spectacular views of the coast – possibly one of the best coastal views in Cornwall. A little further afield, Helford, with its creeks and pub is also worth a visit. Richard and Dawn, the owners, are very friendly and live next door. After we had arrived, they came to check that we had settled in and we enjoyed our outside ‘socially distanced conversations’. They were very helpful and being ‘locals’ suggested good pubs to visit at the end of our walks and the best way to cook the Cornish hake we had bought in Newlyn. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable autumn/winter break. Thank you, Richard and Dawn. Kay and Graham...

Superb cottage in a brilliant location. Sometimes shiny and new outstrips the ‘character’ nature of cottages. In this case Craddocks Cottage offers it all.
