A wonderful private hideaway, totally unique.

We were expecting something special from reading other reviews, but walking through the large wooden entrance door truly does seem to transport into another world - words can not do it justice. We made use of the incredible barbeque hut most nights and our boys aged 7 and 9 loved the pedaloes on the quarry lake. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and was well appointed. Sadly the weather was not great during our stay, a typically unpredictable British Summer, but the lodge proved a good base for exploring the local area. Falmouth is only 10 minutes away and we also went crabbing in Porthleven and managed to make the most of our one nice day at Kynance Cove. Thanks Phil for a very enjoyable stay....

The setting of the Lodge is absolutely stunning. The secure and sizeable garden is fantastic and great for our dog, he loved it it. The lodge itself is very well equipped and the welcoming gifts (milk, Prosecco etc) were a lovely surprise. Phil has produced a little oasis near Falmouth that you really can escape the world for a short time. You really have to use the BBQ hut as well, great for toasting marshmallows, which incidentally, were waiting for us in there. Don't hesitate to book here, it really is Lovely!...

WOW! From the moment we (2x adults, son aged 13 & daughter aged 11) opened the big wooden door and entered this secret quarry garden, we fell under Tresahor's spell. The owner, Phil, has created a beautiful, peaceful haven in this gorgeous part of Cornwall. It is even better and more magical than it looks in the photos. We woke up to sunshine and birdsong and enjoyed wonderful days out on the Roseland Peninsula, around Helford Passage and Falmouth environs. Our days were spent splashing on the beach, stretching our legs on coastal walks, boat trips, motor boat hire, feeding the seals at the local seal sanctuary, making pizzas at a nearby cookery school, tropical gardens, delicious pub lunches, pasties and cream teas. The highlight of our holiday, though, was returning to the lodge to spend our evenings in the fabulously equipped bbq hut and pedal the boats around the quarry lake. Phil kindly left some well-thought welcome gifts that were much appreciated (the children loved toasting the marshmallows). The best way to illustrate just how much we loved Tresahor Lodge is to point out that we booked again for 2024 before we had even left!! ...

We adored our time at Tresahor lodge; such a gem and a haven tucked away in the beautiful North Helford countryside- yet within easy reach of the Lizard coast. The lodge itself enjoys the privacy of amazing outside space and was also incredibly well equipped. Phil was an amazing and most generous host. Thank you so much, we’d love to return….....
