Sadly the standards at The Green House were not as good as we are used to when we have stayed with Classic Cottages in the past. Some areas of the house are tatty and the owners appear more focused on equipping the house with personalised ornaments than paying attention to the upkeep of the property. We loved being in Nunney village which has a very good shop, a pub, a cafe and the castle. Parking was challenging as the cottage is on a narrow road and manoeuvering in and out was difficult. ...

The Green House was our little bit of heaven for a week. The cottage is perfectly equipped and cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the shower felt like a spa! The George Inn was delightful and the food was outstanding, and the convivence of being able to walk less than a minute away to the SPAR store was an added bonus. I would definitely talk a walk through the village to find the little park and walking path, and a walk to the castle. The Green House is any easy distance to so many things to do and see in the area, and having a bottle of wine and sitting next to stream in the garden every evening was the perfect end to each day.
