The Green House was our little bit of heaven for a week. The cottage is perfectly equipped and cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the shower felt like a spa! The George Inn was delightful and the food was outstanding, and the convivence of being able to walk less than a minute away to the SPAR store was an added bonus. I would definitely talk a walk through the village to find the little park and walking path, and a walk to the castle. The Green House is any easy distance to so many things to do and see in the area, and having a bottle of wine and sitting next to stream in the garden every evening was the perfect end to each day. The Green House is in a great location. Well serviced village with cafe, great pub and well stocked village store. Great Easter break with duck racing on the brook, egg hunts and bonnet competitions.

We had a great short break at the Green house. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought and care into this lovely character cottage. Lovely cottage. Great location, really comfortable with quality bed linen and a very good large walk in shower. Loved the big eat in kitchen. All round one of the best places we have stayed in. Will definitely be back
