The furniture and fixtures are of good quality and all the appliances were easy to use.There is excellent walking both coastal and inland with several long distance trails nearby. We have just spent a wonderful second Christmas at Old Sandpitts Cottage. The owner had very kindly decorated the living room for us, including a tree! It was magical - like stepping right into Christmas! The cottage has everything you could need. A fabulously equipped kitchen and the shower is amazing. Very comfortable beds. It was so quiet there - we put the Carols on, lit the wood burner, poured the champagne and relaxed totally for a whole week. We really cannot recommend Old Sandpitts Cottage too highly.
