This is a "quirky" (but in a good way) property and it was great to stay in something a bit different. Someone has obviously invested a lot of time and effort in producing the artistic touches which make it interesting and not run-of-the-mill. Very quiet location and dog friendly. Local pub and take-away just up the road were great and the main attractions in the area are only a short distance away so hardly any travelling to see things....

Had a lovely holiday, used the cottage as base to see this part of Devon we hadn't visited before, Lynton and Lynmouth a must visit, Village shop has excellent quality food and service without fault, village fish and chips also excellent cooked fresh whilst you wait. Best if all after days trekking around come back to straw cottage to relax in hot tub....

When we arrived the owners greeted us and gave us the information about the property and it’s features. We discovered a fault with the TV and let the owners know. By the next morning we had a brand new one waiting for us by the door! Great service lovely location. Will 100% be back...

Great place, so nice and cosy. Log burner was amazing and so was the hot tub! The kitchen had all the amenities to cook they had thought of everything ! Will stay again in the future.
