Beautiful, quirky little property with very helpful hosts. Location is so peaceful and yet only a very short walk (uphill!) to the village with fantastic pub and well stocked village shop. The hot tub was absolutely perfect to come back to after walks along the stunning coastal paths. Don't hesitate - book it!...

We really enjoyed our stay at Straw Cottage, the garden is lovely and quiet and our dog loved the area! Yes it is out in the sticks somewhat but that was expected from the description so no problem. We had a really lovely and relaxing stay at Straw Cottage. There was plenty to explore on our doorstep, we had wonderful trips to Clovelly, Appledore and Westward Ho! all within a short drive. The cottage itself was a delight, we had everything we needed. We enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace, a hot tub most days, and lots of cosy evenings in by the fire, particularly enjoyable with fish & chips from the local pub (the best we've had). Our spaniel thoroughly enjoyed the holiday too, especially making friends with the owner's spaniel Rusty. Thank you x...
