It’s all about the location! The views from the lounge are jaw dropping. The garden is a lovely peaceful oasis. Walks in both directions as you come out of the drive area. The open plan living kitchen space is great for being together whilst preparing meals. A lovely holiday home!...

Beautiful location with walks from the doorstep. Property is at the top of a hill, next door to a working farm which also has a small stall outside selling some produce for example cauliflowers and cabbages. If you want to walk down to Bigbury on Sea then walk over the road from the property into a field and it’s a straight safe walk away from the road. Otherwise you can park at Bigbury on Sea, currently 12.00 per day. The beach goes out a long way and is fantastic for family holidays and you can walk over to Burgh Island. Down by the beach at Bigbury are two cafes a small shop and a surf school but nothing else. On Burgh Island there is a pub. If you want a truly relaxing holiday, away from it all then this is the place and property for you, and of course, it’s dog friendly....

We had a wonderful stay at Ferrycombe Cottage. The cottage is in a lovely location, close to the beach and with stunning views of the sea. The cottage was clean, well equipped and attractively furnished. You can drive or walk to the beach, and it is ideal for families, with shallow water and wide sandy beaches. There is a cafe, toilets, shower and a surf school with kayak hire. An ideal location for a holiday....
