This is Gunwalloe. As you can see, it's very pretty and just along the coast from Poldhu.
The tranquil banks of the Helford are also a short drive away.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Penvores Barn- Easter in Cornwall is always special, loads of bluebells and sea pinks on the cliffs, beautiful spring walks. The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the cliffs and beaches on The Lizard. The cottage garden and setting is very peaceful and pretty with the welcome addition of bbq facilities and a hot tub- brilliant for relaxation and star- gazing at night. The beds at the cottage are very comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water during our stay. The interior decor is stylish, with nice personal touches- old postcards of the local area in frames, robes for the hot tub, wild flowers on the table and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Supermarkets, good pubs and restaurants and local shops are in easy reach, so very convenient for self catering and eating out. Ben the owner was very friendly and helpful, very keen to make you feel welcome. We would be very happy to stay at Penvores Farm again and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you....

What a wonderful cottage.We stayed for a week in November and on arrival we found a note from Ben & Molly welcoming us and a homade apple crumble with instructions how to cook it. The cottage was spotless and stunningly beautiful ,better than the photos. Ben was always very quick to respond to any text messages sent to him and came and adjusted the heating for us. We had a lovely relaxing stay....
