Mount Wise is a beautiful rural farmhouse in a peaceful location. The host was really welcoming giving us a lovely welcome pack. We enjoyed having plenty of rooms - very comfortably furnished to a high standard, and the paddock & fields were great to explore with walks nearby that we did with our dog who was also in her element. Whilst a car is essential we had the advantage of being near to the coastal paths and beaches, but also to the towns of Falmouth and Truro (a particular favourite). The host was always very helpful plus gave us information about the local area. Local gardens to visit were the impressive Trebah Gardens with its' secret cove. An amazing holiday to recharge our batteries. Certainly one to repeat. ...

We found that the farm house was lovely, clean and tidy and everything we needed , the owner welcomed us on arrival and when we left, she called to say have a safe journey home. She could not have been more helpful. The farmhouse was very clean and the linen was exceptional nice and clean / fresh along with all the other utensils and facilities there, All this made our stay very enjoyable and will definatly will book again. We had a lovely time at Mount Wise! Jane was an amazing host and we can see that she has put her heart into the cottage. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed spending time in the cottage. It was not cheap but well worth it. there is a lack of walks directly from the cottage but it was very convenient to visit lots of great places by car....

Thank you so much for your lovely review - we're delighted that you enjoyed your time at the property. We wonder if you were aware of the nearby walk around the neighbouring reservoir? It's a lovely walk and very popular (especially if you go right around to the other side and visit the Golden Lion pub as a halfway stop!). There are also a couple of bridleways and some footpaths leading off the same road that the farmhouse is situated on, so the owner is going to put together a folder of local walks for guests to help them explore the area. Our host, Jane, was lovely. She sent us a text before we arrived and was on hand to answer questions. We loved all the personal touches - homemade bread, wine, chocolates, soap - as well as how helpful she was to us when we were staying.
