For some fun on two wheels, cycle the Camel Trail - a 17 mile route that starts close to Rose Lodge and winds all the way out to Padstow on the coast.

Wonderful 'home from home' stay. Lovely walks from Rose Lodge and then to come back sit in front of the log fire and chill was perfect! The welcome pack was gorgeous, especially the homemade brownies!

We absolutely loved Rose Lodge. It was wonderfully peaceful and the open-plan living space and huge picture windows made it a lovely place to stay for a (mostly) wet and windy week in September. Great quality furnishings and really well equipped. And so cosy and warm. Great central location for both north and south coasts and Cardinham woods. Perfect house for the dog who was kept entertained for hours standing by the windows watching the cows/birds/squirrels!...
