The historic house, gardens and parkland at Lanhydrock make for a great day out. If you enjoy adventures on two wheels there is also a network of cycling trails.

The property was very cosy and comfortable - it was certainly off the beaten track, and therefore, was very peaceful, which we wanted. The hosts, Tim and Laura were very friendly and helpful and we certainly wish them well in this venture. We hope to revisit in the future and would certainly recommend Barton Cottage to our friends. Lovely peaceful location. Beautiful cottage in a country setting..lots of space to walk and sit to admire the view. Fantastic hosts. Recommend visiting Laura Lane and grab yourself some hand made pottery, all made on site.

Wonderful clean, cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings and great hosts. Central location for visiting many locations such as Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey. Would definitely recommend.
