This was our 5th visit to Horseshoe and won’t be our last. Nikki and Spence are so kind and thoughtful, especially with the lovely goodies they are fabulous hosts. The weather wasn’t great this time but we enjoyed the hot tub, log burner and the peace and quiet. Meals at the local pubs were excellent....

This was our second visit to Horseshoe and we were so excited to return. Nikki and Spence are the best hosts and we were greeted with freshly baked scones, cakes and biscuits! The hut has everything you need and we loved making use of the hot tub and log burner. The pub next door is also fab! We had yet again a great stay and can’t wait to come back for a third time. ...

Well equipped shepherds hut with friendly hosts. Close to a good pub, with some (hilly) walks straight from the hut, one to the Grove Inn was good, with handy maps available. The hot tub was lovely and enjoyed the welcome gifts. I would recommend staying here. ...

We had a beautiful stay. The shepherds hut was fully equipped, cosy and very clean. The hot tub was a lovely addition also. We had a great time exploring the lovely area and visiting the local pub- The Exeter Inn for Sunday lunch which was 10/10. The hosts Nikki and Spence were very accommodating and it was great to meet them, such lovely people. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in North Devon....
